1850 PA Corner Cupboard

Back to Portfolio

This ca. 1850 Pennsylvania corner cupboard was in the same family for generations. Over time, it received several coats of paint. Then someone decided it should have glass, not wood panels in the top doors. Out went the hand-planed and beveled butternut panels and hand made center rails. Crude housings were cut for the glass, and there it was. It was passed down to the current owner, whose husband attempted to restore but was unable. Could we?
